Opened in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan on
October 1, 1992, Splash Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland
is the third copy of the popular log-ride in the world.
Situated in Critter Country, the attraction
and its ensuing whimsy basically use elements from the
1946 Disney film Song of the South. Brer Rabbit, Brer
Fox and the lumbering Brer Bear take their cavorting
to a ride bursting with all the music and extravaganza
of the beloved film.
